The following reply was made to PR ports/182183; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Jaap Akkerhuis <jaap@NLnetLabs.nl> To: Kenji Rikitake <kenji.rikitake@acm.org> Cc: bug-followup@freebsd.org Subject: Re: ports/182183: [MAINTAINER] dns/ldns: fix build of py-ldns Date: Wed, 18 Sep 2013 13:32:01 +0200 Kenji, Thanks for the suggestion. Applying the patch at `/usr/ports/dns/ldns` directory modified the `Makefile` and created `patch-configure` in the same directory level. So the patch as created by the "ports submit" didn't create the /usr/ports/dns/ldns.files directory. I didn't realized that. I should probably have mentioned that the files directory needed to be added. I move the `patch-configure` file into `files` directory by adding the following operation: mkdir files mv patch-configure files Yes! That is what was intended. By moving the `patch-configure` file the dns/py-ldns was successfully built. I'm glad to see that. Regards, jaap
