I guess your power is much more reliable than mine.  I have a UPS for
each of my computers except the laptop, which uses a battery as a UPS.
I get typically two or three hits per day big enough to make the UPS
squeal, and one or two a week that will make my stereo lose radio
station presets.

No, but power glitches, brown-outs and sags can.  Feel lucky you don't
get your electrons from "Utah Flicker and Flash."
