Then your saying that all the packages that moved forward from 4.11 which used the previous version of the bsd.php.mk makefile are no longer going to work correctly in 6.0 & 6.11. That this is a much bigger problem than just the phpMyAdmin port. I hear you saying that all the packages in the ports system have to be recreated because that were built using the old bsd.php.mk makefile. How could such a large snafu get passed on this way? Shouldn't a general announcement on the questions list be made telling people about this? -----Original Message----- From: Alex Dupre [mailto:ale@FreeBSD.org] Sent: Friday, May 12, 2006 10:28 AM To: fbsd@a1poweruser.com Cc: James O'Gorman; ports@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: FreeBSD Port: phpMyAdmin-2.8.0.3 fbsd wrote: > php5-5.1.2_1 PHP Scripting Language (Apache Module and CLI) > > This port requires the Apache Module or the CGI version of PHP, but > you have already installed a PHP port without them. > *** Error code 1 You are using an old package with the new bsd.php.mk makefile. This is a particular case. Update php5 via port and retry. -- Alex Dupre
