            Bug ID: 270484
           Summary: DNS issues in both www/chromium and www/firefox
           Product: Base System
           Version: 13.2-RELEASE
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: misc
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: cartesius68@gmail.com

Weird DNS issues.

>From time to time Firefox & Chromium both are unable to resolve DNS like
idnes.cz, Chromium gives ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED.

Simultaneously,=20

$ host idnes.cz

gives expected

idnes.cz has address 185.17.117.32
idnes.cz mail is handled by 20 smtp4.mafra.cz.
idnes.cz mail is handled by 10 smtp2.mafra.cz.
idnes.cz mail is handled by 10 smtp1.mafra.cz.
idnes.cz mail is handled by 20 smtp3.mafra.cz.

but both browsers unable to resolve the domain. Same for different domains =
at
random times. Haven't experienced anything like that before 13.2-RC5.

Trying to find out other potential causes but without luck so far.

* Mozilla Firefox 111.0
* Chromium 111.0.5563.64
both updated long before issues became.
