Me too.
My mileage varies a bit, I get:
root@nameron:~ # freebsd-version -kru
12.3-RELEASE-p7
12.2-RELEASE-p7
12.3-RELEASE-p7

I rebooted several times, even reinstalled the kernel.

Everything is running smoothly, though.
