I have been working on some improvements, and have noticed that it
is possible (with only minor mods) to cause sig-11's.  It is too early
to say whether or not I am reproducing what you are seeing, and I
currently doubt it.  Just FYI, I am listening (lurking), and not
assuming that things are perfect on the VM and VFS fronts.
