The upgrade lets the drive be seen as a WD2500JB, 238GB in size but there has been no change in the machine's behaviour when trying to boot from it under 6.0RC1. I am keeping the drive in the Compaq for now so I can keep cvsupping the source. If anyone wants me to try it on the ASUS board again after some code changes I'll be happy to do it, just write me. r
