We tried the 12/10/32A model that you are referring to.  It seemed to
write to the disc OK but wouldn't fixate the media at the end.  OpenBSD
works with these drives because cdrecord sees it as a SCSI device
through an ATAPI-SCSI translation layer.  That's the theory, anyway.
