I imagine with all the press that opensource has been getting > lately that this would be a good thing for Intel, no? Yes, I have contacts at Intel. The StorageStation was OEM'd, not done by the rest of the InBusiness team, for whom I used to work. There is a minor war going on inside Intel's Network Products Division over FreeBSD vs. Linux for future embedded projects, and the engineering manager who is fighting for FreeBSD -- a personal friend who hopes to win we back -- is unwilling to make any public statements of any sort until and unless FreeBSD wins the war. Given the battle I fought (and won) with the documentation staff at Intel, I'm certain you'll find a relatively complete set of copyright information somewhere in the printed docs. That should certainly contain enough to claim this as a FreeBSD port. -- "Where am I, and what am I doing in this handbasket?"
