 I have similar problem on my desktop. 
 With acpi enabled my mouse is detected, but seems no IRQ is routed to
 it (vmstat -i dont show IRQ 12 at all), so mouse pointer moves randomly
 by moving mouse.
 But, when i disable acpi (hint.acpi.0.disabled="1" in /boot/loader.conf)
 mouse works correctly.
