I've no idea, I'm afraid, since my main port upgrading machine is a weekly-tracked 3.3-STABLE, and the other testbox runs various flavors of -CURRENT. As mentioned at http://www.freebsd.org/ports/, the up-to-date ports tree is only officially supported on -STABLE and -CURRENT, so in the event of a failure, you're likely to see a standard "upgrade to the latest -STABLE" response. However, a 3.2-{RELEASE,STABLE} to 3.3-STABLE upgrade should be relatively painless. "make world" should run without any problems, and the excellent mergemaster program (in the ports tree) will help out with any changes in /etc Good luck :) -aDe -- Ade Lovett, Austin, TX.
