With one change, which took me ages to figure out, it works.

To start PostgreSQL, run the startup script:
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/pgsql.sh start
===> Compressing manual pages for postgresql-7.0.2
===>   Running ldconfig
/sbin/ldconfig -m /usr/local/pgsql/lib
===>   Registering installation for postgresql-7.0.2

In case I can't remember it, someone else should see PR `ports/20137'.
 Unfortunately, I sent it in as confidential. Sorry.
