it is the X220.

There is a solution available which needs a bit more time as I have had on hand before I left.

As I have said several times already, I will be back with this machine to FreeBSD after my return.

Some say that the AMD CPUs are slower per core. This X220 with the 2640 CPU seems to be very, very fast for me. I was surprised how it performed running plain FreeBSD.

I would not have expected this much performance out of a small notebook.

As this is my first Intel CPU since the good, old 80586, I cannot tell you more about Intel CPUs.
