There is a chance Transarc would pick up support in the future if most of
the work was done.  A small chance, but a chance.  It is also more likely
to retain compatability as Transarc makes changes.

There is another issue here.  Several of us have seen Transarc's code.
This could taint the open-source status of Arla.
