Hi,

I have tried to install the FreeBSD using the View tool. The procedure I
have followed is:
1. Bootting from a floppy disk
2. Selecting the Novice Instalation Guide=20
3. Disposing the entire disk (201 Mbytes)
4. Selecting my supported CDROM media type (Mitsumi)

The system has reported me the following message during the copy of bin:

- Write failure on transfer! Wrote -1 bytes of 10240=20

Obs.: This error is reported in other (not at all) steps as well. If I try
to boot=20
after tthe installation I receive the message: "Can=B4t find kernel image to=
 link
on the root file system..."=20

I would like to know what is the probable error source (OS,HD,CDROM)?
It takes me about 12 hours to get the system installed. Is it normal? =20

Thanks in advance
