Hi, I have tried to install the FreeBSD using the View tool. The procedure I have followed is: 1. Bootting from a floppy disk 2. Selecting the Novice Instalation Guide 3. Disposing the entire disk (201 Mbytes) 4. Selecting my supported CDROM media type (Mitsumi) The system has reported me the following message during the copy of bin: - Write failure on transfer! Wrote -1 bytes of 10240 Obs.: This error is reported in other (not at all) steps as well. If I try to boot after tthe installation I receive the message: "Canīt find kernel image to link on the root file system..." I would like to know what is the probable error source (OS,HD,CDROM)? It takes me about 12 hours to get the system installed. Is it normal? Thanks in advance Rubens Freire Rosa
