https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D270060 Bug ID: 270060 Summary: x11/nvidia-driver, x11/linux-nvidia-libs: update to 525.89.02 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: thindil@laeran.pl.eu.org CC: danfe@FreeBSD.org, x11@FreeBSD.org CC: danfe@FreeBSD.org, x11@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 240691 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D240691&action= =3Dedit 525.89.02 It is the latest version from the production branch. It should also fix bug #267220. Some remarks: 1. In previous versions of the driver, I had serious problems with 525 and = 520 series of the driver. When its GL cache reached above 200 MB, the driver started crashing randomly, causing a hard reboot of the computer. It seems = to me, that the current version is free of this problem: I have now GL cache w= ith size around 500 MB and no crashes here. But I think it would be good if som= eone also test it. 2. The version brings many changes to support Wayland on FreeBSD. I don't u= se Wayland, so I didn't test if it works. 3. I have done only small tests for Linuxator. More tests appreciated. Agai= n, especially with Wayland. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
