I have since made the Linux system a FreeBSD4.0 System. I'm trying to install Visual Slick Edit on that system. There are two files involved in the installation: 1) vsinst 2) vspack I perform brandelf on vsinst-> brandelf -t Linux vsinst, but I can't perform the same on vspack (which I assume is some type of packed version of the files). vsinst starts and put out a message "unpacking files" when is begins to get the files out of vspack. At this point, my screen flies by with "ELF binary type not know. Use "brandelf" to brand it". I assume this is for all the "packed" files in vspack. Any ideas how to set the ELF type on this packed list so that I can get around this message? Thanks!
