OS: FreeBSD 2.2-STABLE circa May/June
SCSI-Adapter: Adaptec 3940U
Changer in question: DEC TZ885 DLT (5 Tape Changer)

The Adaptec is setup for multiple LUN support and sees both the changer
and the drive (Drive: ID 5 Unit 0, Changer: ID 5 Unit 1)

I have compiled a kernel with the ch0 and there is a ch0 device in /dev/
created via MAKEDEV

upon booting the kernel finds the st0 device but no joy on ch0.

request clue.
