My Gigabyte 8SQ800 has a problem with my Logitech MX500 mice and more recently with a Logitech USB keyboard. I've had to connect both of these via a hub to avoid frequent disconnects that occur when they are connected directly to the motherboard's USB ports. Not as severe as your issue but might be worth a shot.
