I just posted a message about an install failure of openoffice-1.1 from the ports collection. It's quite large and has been delayed pending moderator approval. Meanwhile here's some more information. I have the following installed: # pkg_info -aI|grep jdk jdk-1.3.1p9_4 Java Development Kit 1.3 linux-sun-jdk-1.3.1.14_1 Sun Java Development Kit 1.3 for Linux linux-sun-jdk-1.4.2.07_1 Sun Java Development Kit 1.4 for Linux The install complains that "jni_md.h" isn't found. Sure enough, the linux version of jdk-1.4.2 has jni.h, which includes jni_md.h, but no such file is there. Instead it's in linux/jni_md.h. Not sure what to do about that. Has this come up before? I could just rip out the Linux SDK 1.4.2 and replace it with the native one, but I'm not sure what that might break elsewhere. Mike O'Brien
