Firefox stopped working. When I try to run it, I get: [sam@mondrian:~] firefox /libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/X11R6/lib/firefox/components/libxremote_client.so: Undefined symbol "_Z20NS_NewGenericModule2P12nsModuleInfoPP9nsIModule" The top of the Makefile: New ports collection makefile for: phoenix # Date created: 2002/10/21 # Whom: Alan Eldridge <alane@FreeBSD.org> # # $FreeBSD: ports/www/firefox/Makefile,v 1.158 2006/08/02 14:06:52 ahze Exp $ # $MCom: ports/www/firefox/Makefile,v 1.29 2006/02/01 02:11:23 ahze Exp $ # And uname: [sam@mondrian:~] uname -a FreeBSD mondrian.rexfeatures.com.local 5.5-RELEASE-p3 FreeBSD 5.5-RELEASE-p3#0: Wed Sep 6 17:48:00 BST 2006 root@mondrian.rexfeatures.com.local:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/MONDRIAN i386 I've tried using the package, deinstalling and reinstalling the port, still I get the same problem. I had the same issue on 5.4 before I upgraded to 5.5 . Thanks Sam London -- I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ. -- Mohandas Gandhi
