I can't use "startx" unless I'm in /usr/X11R6/bin and type ./startx , but then it tells me it can find xinit Right now, I'm using X, but I had to run lynx, then go to shell using " ! ". It seems that my paths only work when I drop to shell that way, but not when I first log in and run pppd. Please help... the book "the complete freebsd" isn't helping me at all because it doesn't have anything remotely near my problem. And a friend of mine had the exact same thing happen to him. Thanx in advance for your time... ____________________ Victor Breen weasel@impulse.net ____________________ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
