  Why worry about 3.0-SNAP or current?  You aren't even running the latest
RELEASE software yet!

  FreeBSD doesn't have problems with PIIs.  It could because you are
running an old release (2.2.1), and running into bugs.  Or, because your
news processor and/or new mb are bad.
