Peter Kien <peter.kien@posteo.org> has reassigned Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org>'s request for maintainer-feedback to gecko@FreeBSD.o= rg: Bug 219118: www/firefox and www/firefox-esr: pop sound after audio playback (seems to affect only some websites) https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D219118 --- Description --- Hello, go to http://leo.org and let it pronounce any English word. Very often (tho= ugh not always) the audio playback will end with a rather ugly pop sound. (This is indeed a problem of this port and not of the website. I've tested = it on other platforms, such as Debian Linux and Windows.) As you can see below, my sound options are set to ALSA. I haven't tried any= of the other options. I've built firefox (both firefox and firefox-esr are affected) with the following options: OPTIONS_FILE_SET+=3DBUNDLED_CAIRO=20=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DCANBERRA=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DDBUS=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DDEBUG=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DDTRACE=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_SET+=3DFFMPEG=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DGCONF=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DGNOMEUI=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DINTEGER_SAMPLES=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DLIBPROXY=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_SET+=3DOPTIMIZED_CFLAGS=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DPGO=20=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DPROFILE=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_SET+=3DRUST=09=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DTEST=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_SET+=3DGTK2=09=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DGTK3=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_SET+=3DALSA=09=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DPULSEAUDIO=09=09=09=09=09=09=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 OPTIONS_FILE_UNSET+=3DSNDIO
