What you see on your screen is in PPM format. You should get a utility
like ppmtogif (part of the netpbm port) to convert the out to a more
common format.

how do you use qcamcontrol to grab a picture?

I tried running it as just qcamcontrol and get all sorts of wierd
characters on my xterm...

i tried piping it to a .jpg file by doing qcamcontrol > test.jpg and
then viewing it with cjpeg, i get junk again?

I will see if cv can look at it.
