When trying to run a linux binary (2.2.1-RELEASE box), I get the message:

/lib/ld.so: cache '/etc/ld.so.cache' has wrong version

and the program exits on signal 11 and dumps core.

I have installed Linux libraries from the ports collection.

What are the possible reasons for this?

Thanks in advance.
