  Rewrite the synopsis for conformity.  Rewrite large chunks of the
  introduction, boot0, boot1, and boot2 text to conform with what the
  synopsis tells the reader the rest of the chapter.
  
  Throw in a gratuitous Baron Munchausen reference.
