Sorry I can't help you with the CDROM - I suspect it may be IDE, and I don't know anything about those. What does your XF86Config file's "Pointer" section look like? Mine is:- Section "Pointer" Protocol "Microsoft" Device "/dev/cuaa0" Emulate3Buttons EndSection This is for a serial mouse on the first serial port (the equivalent of COM1).
