Hello,
     I got the error:=20
"/usr/ports/japanese/kdeaddons/Makefile", line 23: Could not find
/usr/ports/japanese/kdeaddons/../../misc/kdeaddons/Makefile
make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue
*** Error code 1
Stop in /usr/ports/japanese.
*** Error code 1

in the middle of running "make clean" in a freshly installed /usr/ports
overnight.

I thought that re-installing a fresh copy of the ports tree would solve
the problems in my earlier post: "Re: portsdb -Uu returns multiple
"make: fatal errors encountered--cannot continue: malformed entry: make:
fatal errors encountered --cannotcontinue" statements", but I see here
that *something* must be wrong with the current ports tree (at least at
cvsup3@FreeBSD.org, cvsup8@FreeBSD.org & cvsup2@uk.FreeBSD.org, all of
which I tried last night to cvsup my ports tree to get out of the
problem).

Running portsdb -Uu & pkgdb -F do not return errors as before, but "make
clean" in /usr/ports crashes at the same point.

Could someone in the know please let me know if there is a problem here,
or how I can take steps to complete a make clean?

Stacey
