Also, the 'signal' and 'noise' parameters from wicontrol on FreeBSD seem to accurately represent link quality (from my simple walk away, walk towards) testing. The lucent drivers on my windows box always show no signal. All of my work is with 4.4-STABLE from about two weeks ago.
