This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0007_01BD6329.05F9AE20 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I've just purchased ver2.2.5 of FreeBSD unix, and after 3 days of blood = sweat and tears, have managed ti install it and get it to run! sort of. = I purchased a second hard drive and partitioned it for an 800MB BSD = partition, then installed BSD. I have an Intel AL440LX mother board so I = installed the boot manager, which also worked, so I am very nearly there, unfortunatly I cant get xview to run. I,ve = looked at the installation and I've installed all the components. Is it as simple as = not knowing the run command. At work we use xwin on sunsparc, but those = commands don't work. I feel pretty stupid as I feel I've done all the hard work just getting = it all to run on my system, so this is the final hurdle. Can you help me = please? PS As I consulted you cd documents using the view program, there were = many instances where a printout would have helped. Is there a manual I = can purchase to help, as the next step is to configure my internet to = work through my BSD partition. Kind regards, and an excellent product to keep you in for a few evenings!
