That box is now running %uname -a FreeBSD eco9 9.0-CURRENT-201012 FreeBSD 9.0-CURRENT-201012 #0: Sun Jul 17 13:57:27 BST 2011 root@eco9:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/GENERIC_NOSBP_NODEBUG i386 I've just downloaded the RC1 i386 and amd64 CD's and they also both give the same message. Also someone just posted about another ASUS motherboard with the same problem. http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-questions/2011-November/235393.html It's not a problem for me and the other poster said it's not a problem for him but am happy to provide more info if required (but please cc me as I'm not subscribed to bugs@) Chris
