I'm hoping someone can help with this. When attempting to build the firefox port (as well as the netscape and mozilla ports) I get the following: ================================================== checking for freetype-config... /usr/local/bin/freetype-config checking For sufficiently new FreeType (at least 2.0.1)... yes gnome-config: not found configure: error: Pango 1.2.0 and Xft backend is required for x11 target ===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly. /var/db/pkg`). *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-toolkits/gtk20. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/www/firefox. =================================================== I've done a portupgrade -a. pango 1.4.1 is installed as well as libXft and gdkxft. Could the script be insisting on pango 1.2.0 to the exclusion of all other versions? Any ideas?
