Here's a possible solution to your problem. I noticed your ifconfig: > vr0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 > inet 207.148.xxx.50 netmask 0xfffffff8 broadcast 207.148.xxx.55 > inet 207.148.xxx.51 netmask 0xfffffff8 broadcast 207.148.xxx.55 > inet 207.148.xxx.52 netmask 0xfffffff8 broadcast 207.148.xxx.55 > inet 192.168.0.4 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.0.255 > ether 00:80:c8:e1:47:b2 > media: 100baseTX <half-duplex> > supported media: autoselect 100baseTX <full-duplex> 100baseTX > <half-duplex> 100baseTX 10baseT/UTP <full-duplex> 10baseT/UTP 10baseT/UTP > <half-duplex> Your netmask for the aliases should be 255.255.255.255 (or 0xffffffff) here's an example ifconfig from one of my machines (note the .16 addr which is the alias): de0: flags=8a43<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,ALLMULTI,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet 192.168.34.4 netmask 0xffffff80 broadcast 192.168.34.127 inet 192.168.34.16 netmask 0xffffffff broadcast 192.168.34.16 ether 00:00:f8:01:80:c6 media: 100baseTX status: active supported media: autoselect 100baseTX <full-duplex> 100baseTX 10baseT/UTP <full-duplex> 10baseT/UTP Kenneth Ingham ingham@i-pi.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
