Thanks Craig,

I followed what you did, and everything works!!!  I wouldn't have known
to add the '-lcrypt' in the Makefile after the ./configure command, so
thanks a lot for saving me time.  And just for the heck of it, I did try
doing an install without having made reference to '-lcrypt' in the
reconfigured Makefile, and I got the same errors you did.
