I thought I had the problem licked with this DPT controller. Last night I shut down the machine, and this morning I booted it up and it hung on the file system checks I then got experimental again. I booted up with the distribution cd and tried to repartion/reinstall freebsd again and guess what, even with the bios settings from the time that worked, it still hung in the newfs Just thought I would pass on to everyone that this is still an issue... -----Original Message----- From: mike grommet To: Dan Baker Cc: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Date: Wednesday, September 30, 1998 8:09 PM Subject: *FIXED* maybe?
