Here's what I get on a 2.2.5 machine : no "pkg_install"

So, KDE does have a cvsup server ? That's very fine. I'll use it to
follow the developpment. (I hope there won't be a fight between the
source imported from KDE and the port from freebsd.org, though)

make world (buildworld is a sub-target) "only" updates the "userland" of
FreeBSD - after a buildworld, you generally rebuid your kernel (with
config mykernel ; cd ../../compile/mykernel ; etc ....) You rebuild your
kernel on a manual intervention.
