I've resolved the rlphy0 issue. I'm now running: dc0 - 192.168.123.xx (255.255.255.0) --> LAN rl0 - 192.168.1.2 (255.255.255.252) - --> DSL modem/router/etc. default gateway 192.168.1.1 (the modem/router's IP) Gateway enabled ipfw running, natd also running Windows box (sample) IP address (static) 192.168.123.1 (255.255.255.0) default gateway 192.168.123.8 (FBSD box) Still, packets do not make it through the FBSD box. I can pink any address from the BSD box including the windows machine, modem, or out on the Net. The windows machine can ping the BSD box. Windows cannot ping the modem or the Net. Any ideas here? Any info I can add? God's Blessings, Gene To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.
