I am using sendmail "version.c 8.8.7.3 (Berkeley) 8/3/97", which has
been working.
Lately, I have been getting undeliverable mail messages when I cc
myself. If I do not cc myself, the mail seems to be delivered OK. If
I send mail to myself as tomdean@ix.netcom.com, I get the
undeliverable message. If I send mail to myself as tomdean@celebris,
it works. I may have changed something, but, I don't remember doing
it. Asleep at the wheel?
I have looked thru the sendmail readme's. Nothing seems applicable to
this problem. Is this a domain problem? I see "domain must resolve"
in /var/log/maillog.
I am using emacs 19.34.1. user-mail-address is tomdean@ix.netcom.com
and mail-host-address is nil.

I have an masquerade entry in /etc/sendmail.cf "DMix.netcom.com". Is
there another value that I need to set for mail to myself?
hostname is celebris. domainname is NULL.
I have a local network, with /etc/hosts entries:

192.168.1.3 celebris celebris.tddhome
192.168.1.2 tddti tddti.tddhome
192.168.1.1 tdd486 tdd486.tddhome
/etc/host.conf has
hosts
bind
/etc/resolv.conf has

nameserver 199.182.120.203
nameserver 199.182.120.202
If I send mail to tomdean@ix.netcom.com, I get undeliverable messages.
I see the name celebris in the undeliverable mail messages.
I thought the sendmail.cf DM entry and the emacs user-mail-address
should have prevented this.
What am I missing?
