I've certainly not said that cdrecord is better than burncd. As i
said, i'm very happy with burncd and even if cdrecord was available
for ATAPI devices on FreeBSD, i don't know if i'll use it unless it
provides some useful features not found in burncd...

But, the facts are that if you read the mailing lists, there are some
problems with some ATAPI burners: even if i'm not personnally
concerned, it's a problem as such (but i think Soren is working on
it). The facts are, too, that:
