Other than the list that Jordan made up a while back, there doesn't appear to be much in the way of newbie warnings about troublesome hardware, so thats where the matter of a hardware HOW_NOT_TO originated. Its worth finding the time to prepare even if only to minimize the "help" calls the support folk in Apana receive.
