Hiya, Running PCBSD Current for December and they told me to take the question over here. Since the upgrade to the December snapshot, my video is much slower. By that I mean my refresh in KDE is very slow. Closing windows gives that sort of strobe light effect where it happens bit by bit. Takes about 3-4 seconds to minimize a window. Opening windows happens much more quickly. Never had this problem before. Don't have time now but later I will see about the xorg.conf file being correct, but I'm currently in 1900x1200 so I assume it's configured properly. Will also play around with the KDE desktop effects to see if it's just a special effect which is impacted. Using my Dell Latitude E6510 laptop as ever. vgapci0: <VGA-compatible display> port 0x7110-0x7117 mem 0xf0000000-0xf03fffff,0xe0000000-0xefffffff irq 16 at device 2.0 on pci0 agp0: <Intel Ironlake (M) SVGA controller> on vgapci0 agp0: aperture size is 256M, detected 32764k stolen memory vgapci0: Boot video device -- Dave Robison Sales Solution Architect II FIS Banking Solutions 510/621-2089 (w) 530/518-5194 (c) 510/621-2020 (f) daver@vicor.com david.robison@fisglobal.com _____________ The information contained in this message is proprietary and/or confidential.
