I have tried several times to install 2.7 on a DPT raidstation, but I get a drive failure (different drives) about a minute after I get the message about creating the root filesystem. If the offending drive is removed and reinstalled it gets rebuilt, and the diagnostic option on the Storagemanager can find no problems with the drive. The controller is recognised on bootup, and the raid appears as a 9Gb or 18Gb drive (depending on raid level). The raid consists of 3 9Gb IBM ultra wide HDs, housed in a DLT raidstation3 and connected to a DPT PM2144UW (SmartCacheIV) controller. Any ideas?
