It depends on what the HZ setting is. Besides, any server that is left running continually for that length of time is a neglected, unmaintained server and nothing to boast about. If you want something to brag about, look at the availability stats for hosting companies. It's a much better indicator of overall reliability, and companies running FreeBSD are generally very well represented in the top 10 each month. http://news.netcraft.com/archives/2008/02/12/swishmail_is_the_most_reliable_hosting_company_in_january_2008.html Cheers, Matthew - -- Dr Matthew J Seaman MA, D.Phil. 7 Priory Courtyard Flat 3 PGP: http://www.infracaninophile.co.uk/pgpkey Ramsgate Kent, CT11 9PW -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.4 (FreeBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHvRrd8Mjk52CukIwRCKanAJ9wLnzsZyJhignCF1FmSOJn9dlOjgCbBcK2 TY2+Ghj9mbNQiVEqsq7K4LQ= =HDfk -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
