It was also broken. I backed the tree down to 0.4_10 a few hours later. This morning (early) I updated with a 0.5_1 which works fine for me. It is likely you've got some kind of an out-of-date configuration. Another thing to consider is, if it looks like it is starting up and then just dies, consider removing the add on X fonts you may have installed (except webfonts, I know that's good). Apparently mozilla+xft is vulnerable to death by slightly incorrect font files, according to mail we have been copied on by Joe Marcus Clarke (marcus@freebsd.org).
