Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I would like to do some benchmarking on an alpha machine using Freebsd, I have a v3.0 cd set, on the front it says 'Now with DEC Alpha, SMP support and ELF binaries' so I assumed it would work on alpha. I looked on the cd for some installation instructions particular for alpha, which I presume there are. (Linux has) I was unable to find anything pertaining to installing on an alpha box, so I looked on your .org website but could find very little info other than an alpha port exists. Can you tell me where it is, and if there are any installation instructions available for it? Thanks. Regards Paul Ingram -- Paul Ingram Technical Support Workstations U.K. Ltd.
