It seems my nforce2 onboard audio is not detected by freebsd 5.1 plain install... dmesg says: uhub1: 3 ports with 3 removable, self powered pci0: at device 2.2 (no driver attached) pci0: at device 4.0 (no driver attached) pci0: at device 5.0 (no driver attached) pci0: at device 6.0 (no driver attached) pcib1: at device 8.0 on pci0 pci1: on pcib1 sis0: port 0xc000-0xc0ff mem 0xee010000-0xee010fff irq 11 at device 7.0 on pci1 using google, i've learned that it might be snd_pcm.ko module I should use... but no, I have snd_pcm_load="yes" in /boot/loader.conf , and it is loaded... FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE #0: Thu Jun 5 02:55:42 GMT 2003 root@wv1u.btc.adaptec.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC Preloaded elf kernel "/boot/kernel/kernel" at 0xc06f2000.
