https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D240092 Bug ID: 240092 Summary: sysutils/smartmontools persistent states and attributes Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: bsd@abinet.ru CC: samm@os2.kiev.ua Flags: maintainer-feedback?(samm@os2.kiev.ua) CC: samm@os2.kiev.ua smartmontools has ability to save attributes and states information to file. This can done with smartd flags https://www.smartmontools.org/browser/trunk/smartmontools/smartd.8.in or du= ring compilation. At the moment, both of methods are unavailable - port doesn't provide configuration options - rc.d script doesn't have option to pass arbitrary configuration options to daemon. Can we enable persistent attribute/states feature in one way or another? St= ates are rather useful from my point of view. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
