I had this problem before so I have tried guspnp4 guspnp5 guspnp6
guspnp11 with the same result. I used to think this were because
there were no full duplex, but that doesn't matter, so I am starting
to belive that the guspnp isn't properly initilized.
You see I have no Plag-and-Pray bios. I used to use the pnp patch to
freebsd to initilize my plug and play devices. That patch doesn't
work with the guspnp sound packet. The reason is that they used the
same names for the plug and play devices. I can fix this by changing
the names, but that still doesn't fix my problem.
I bet all of you have plug-and-pray bios.
I think it would be nice to fix this and I would try to help if I can.

You know I'm an engineer so if it's not broken it doesn't have enough
features yet :)

Sincerely,

/Tomas
