I'm afraid, my skills won't allow this.

It was in 1998 when I purchased my last SCSI-controller and I decided to
buy a Symbios one because of the above mentioned reason. So this is a
new piece of information for me, that Adaptec is now also able to do
this. Sorry.

True for nowadays boards. Only some very old ones had trouble with this,
according to my experience.
